This 2 inch reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly prevents the reverse flow of contaminated water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure. This assembly without shutoff valves, consists of a bronze body with British standard pipe (BSP) end connections, two in-line independent check valves, replaceable check seats with an intermediate relief valve, and ball valve test cocks. It is ideal for protection of health hazard cross-connections or for containment at the service line entrance.
